Congratulations on your daughter! What an achievement. I’m just stating our softball journey. My 7 year old just made all-stars for the first time in softball. They don’t use pitching machine at this age until they hit all stars due to wanting to make sure everyone has some success. Everyone on the team is having difficulty adjusting to it at this time, but I’m sure they will get it with enough reps. Looking forward to this journey!
Love it Walt! The development between the ages of 7-10 is simply wild, it seems plenty messy along the way, but we were fortunate to have patient and caring coaches. They already have this group of girls operating like a well oiled machine, knowing situational ball. It's a blast to see, so rewarding. Enjoy it man and thanks for the message!
Hey Brandon- I haven’t laid it all out yet, but just eyeballing it, I would think somewhere in mid/late 50s, no later than the early portion of the 60s, right now. It’s not a perfect profile, but he’s really gaining confidence and it’s showing. IF that slider goes from around current 14% usage to at/around 20%+ then he can really cook past the regression.
Congrats on the proud Dad moment! I have four grown kids, and miss those times, it’s what it’s all about. Enjoy.
